Career Discovery Day

Ages 11 - 17 (with an adult chaperone)

Find out what it is like to work at a zoo!

Join us for an engaging program for middle and high school students to explore animal related careers at Denver Zoo.

From keepers to trainers, veterinarians and exhibit designers, a wide variety of possible zoo and animal careers will be explored during our Career Discovery Day this fall! The program kicks off with an engaging assembly featuring our animal stars.  Participants hear from zoo professionals during scheduled demonstrations, participate in special tours and visit breakout sessions of their choice filled with activities, information and time to ask questions about what it takes to work on the wild-side.
