Toyota Elephant Passage Fund
The next major phase in building the "new" Denver Zoo, Toyota Elephant Passage will be a 10-acre series of exhibits dedicated to rare and endangered Asian elephants, rhinos, tapirs, leopards and numerous birds and reptiles. Gifts to Toyota Elephant Passage are matched dollar for dollar by a Zoo Improvement Bond, thereby doubling your gift!

General Zoo Fund
With nearly 4,000 animals in our care, it costs approximately $50,000 each day to operate the Zoo. Your gift to the general fund supports on-going education, conservation, and animal care programs, and meets the Zoo's most urgent needs. |

Conservation Fund
Denver Zoo is actively involved in more than 60 field projects in 26 countries, including the U.S., and another 12 projects within the Zoo itself. Much of our research focuses on conserving large ecosystems as a means to preserve endangered species. |

Red Apple Fund For Lifelong Learning
This scholarship fund has since provided nearly 70,000 children and families with access to the zoo. |

Earning Your Trust
Denver Zoo is committed to using donations and other resources wisely and responsibly. The Zoo spends just $10.50 per person served, with 7.7 percent of expenses allocated to fundraising and membership activities.
