It is easy to help!

It takes more than an apple a day to keep the vet away. At Denver Zoo, veterinary care is proactive and includes all preventative check-ups to emergency medicine; our vets provide the finest state-of-the-art care to our animals. Help fund the day-to-day tools, medicines and supplies they need. With three full-time veterinarians and an additional four veterinary staff members, 63 keepers and 10 animal curators and supervisors, Denver Zoo strives to offer the best care for all of our animals. Our primates receive some of the same vaccines as humans for polio, pertussis and diphtheria! Most of our baby animals receive a series of vaccines during their baby wellness exams. Many of our animals receive special supplements to keep them in tip-top shape!
