Early Explorer Expeditions - Colors of Nature

Ages 2 - 4 with adult

Join us for this four-part series where participants will explore the world of colors in their own surroundings and discover the magic of color with experiements and color mixing in the Early Explorer Expedition: Colors of Nature series. These highly interactive, nature play based programs foster deep and meaningful connections with animals and inspire children to explore the natural world.  

2014 DATES:

Blue & Purple - September 16, 20 or 24
Green & Orange - September 30, October 4 or 8
Black & White - October 14, 18 or 22

Denver Zoo continues to offer our new programming for young children:  Early Explorer Expeditions!

This four part series “Colors of Nature” is designed for your 2-4 year old child (and one engaged adult) to discover and explore the natural world though your senses.  Through hands-on experiences, zoo exploration, investigation and play we will cultivate connections between children and the world around them. Each “expedition” will include different live animals from our education collection. 

Cost

You must purchase a ticket for each child and each adult.

Members: $8.00 per participant (per class)
Non-members: $14.00 per participant (per class)

Blue & Purple - September 16, 20 or 24

Classes run from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
