OUTREACH AND AT THE ZOO MINICLASSES
Presentations that provide zoo resources and expertise in unique ways.

Cost: $6/student; Smaller groups will be charged for a minimum of 15 students.

Cost: $100 for first class, $75 for each additional consecutive class
Things To Know:
- Please register at least three weeks in advance (requested dates are guaranteed upon confirmation by Denver Zoo).
- Outreach Only - Miniclass room policies
- Outreach Only - Travel fees apply outside of SCFD.
- Outreach Only - Layover fees apply to breaks exceeding 60 minutes between programs.
- Scholarships are available through Denver Zoo's Red Apple Fund.

- Cancellation of Programs
Classes and programs canceled or rescheduled with less than 2 weeks notice before the scheduled program will be charged 50% of the total cost. Red Apple Scholarship awards will not apply to cancellation fees.
Animal Tales (ages 3 – Grade 1)
Standards: Science K-2: 1.1, 3.1; Reading and Writing 4
- Listen to fun and engaging stories about our animal friends.
- Meet two live animals from these stories.
Creature Feature: Critters (ages 3 - Grade 8)
Science K-2: 1.1, 3.1, 3.4, 3.5
Science 3-5: 3.1, 3.5, 3.8
- Meet two live animals up close!
- Compare and contrast animals such as amphibians, birds, invertebrates, mammals, or reptiles.
- Zoo representatives will share information about the animal's classification, habitat and special adaptations.
