IMMERSION WORKSHOPS
MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL GROUPS

Immersion programs provide a unique view of the zoo in a special multi-contact experience. These classes are intended to provide students with an opportunity to participate in an in-depth project, drawing on the zoo’s mission to educate and conserve. Our goal is to connect students to their local community, inspire action and awareness, and to empower students to participate in international projects.  Students are offered experiences ranging from the study of animal behavior and exhibit design, to environmental and conservation issues here in Colorado and around the world.

For more information on this type of opportunity, contact the program coordinator at 303-376-4836.

Denver Zoo offers career, science and volunteer programs for individual teens, too.  Click here to learn more!
