From keepers to trainers, veterinarians and exhibit designers, the wide variety of possible zoo and animal careers will be on display during our Career Discovery Day annually each fall!  We kick off the event with a special career themed assembly that features animal stars.  Participants hear from zoo professionals during scheduled demonstrations, participate in special tours and visit our job fair for hands-on stations filled with activities and information on what it takes to work on the wild-side.

NOTE: Seating is limited for the career assembly and entry to the job fair and special tours will be restricted to registered participants and chaperones only.   Upon confirmation of registration, participants will receive a Career Discovery Day Agenda, including a seating time at one of the assemblies.

Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. at the zoo’s Main Entrance.

Members $50/ Nonmembers $55; cost includes zoo admission for one participant and one required adult chaperone; please note that participants will not be admitted without an adult chaperone and chaperones must remain with participants throughout the duration of the event.  Scholarships are available through Denver Zoo's Red Apple Fund.
