KIDS OVERVIEW

Denver Zoo has even more fun in store for you!

Just for you, we've put together a collection of fun facts and games that let you know more about our animals and what we do at Denver Zoo.

New Maps Guide Fun and Learning - Denver Zoo is excited to partner with The Goddard School for Early Childhood Development in the creation of a special map to encourage learning through play. The seasonal activity map, developed for families with children ages one to six-years-old, will feature 20 different areas around the zoo for kids to find, explore and experience. The current map can be picked up at special signs at the zoo or you can download it here. Following your visit, kids can stop by the Kibongi Gift Shop and pick up a sticker to add to their maps. By using the map as a guide, you can plan your visit ahead of time and create an amazing experience your entire family will enjoy.

No doubt about it, Denver Zoo is a popular place for children!

That's why we've put together special programs designed just for kids. These programs are led by staff, contract instructors and volunteers who have backgrounds in early childhood and elementary education, animal behavior and environmental education. All personnel who work with children have completed background checks. Check out: School Programs at the Zoo!
