As you look past a damaged hut into the large habitat that resembles a farm in rural Thailand, you will see Asian elephants, Indian rhinos and Malayan tapirs, which will rotate among the five large habitats in Toyota Elephant Passage.  A deep pool for wading and swimming, an elephant-sized shade structure and several scratching posts all take on a rural character.  The elephants will even be able to reach crops outside of the habitat to show how elephants can damage local farming. 

While visiting the Outpost, you also will have the rare opportunity to see to clouded leopards in a lush habitat.  Standing under a large shade structure, you will have an excellent view of these rare cats.  Children can become a stalking clouded leopard by crawling through a downed log in search of a meal.
