We are pleased that your group is planning a visit to Denver Zoo! A discount on admission is available for groups of 10 or more paid admissions. Non-profit organizations also receive special group pricing with proof of non-profit status. Accredited school groups can take advantage of school group rates through Education.
Group rate tickets can be purchased in advance, by reservation, online (for groups 10-49) or at the box office on the day of your visit.
- If you know the date of your visit and the size of the group that will be visiting; please mail or fax in the Group Sales Form. Group tickets are non-refundable.
- If you are a group interested in Zoo Lights tickets, please mail or fax in the Zoo Lights Group Sale form. Group tickets are non-refundable.
- If you know the date of your visit, but are unsure of the size of your group; please mail or fax in the Group Reservation Form.
- Group rates are also available at the Box Office on the day of your visit during normal operating hours.

DENVER ZOO CONSIGNMENT PROGRAM
Denver Zoo would like to offer your employees and visitors the opportunity to visit Denver Zoo 365 days a year at a highly discounted rate in 2010. By joining Denver Zoo's consignment program you can provide your employees with the benefit of enjoying Denver's most popular attraction at incredible admission rates.
New in 2010, Denver Zoo consignment tickets can be purchased and managed easily online. When you purchase consignment tickets online with Denver Zoo it's as simple as selecting a day to visit, making a payment with a credit card and printing the ticket. Tickets will be printed with a specific date on them but are valid for daytime admission any day of the year! No more collecting money and mailing tickets back to Denver Zoo.
The prices for Consignment tickets during the year are as follows:

Adult (12-64) - $9.50 (Regular rate $13- Savings of $3.50)
Child (3-11) - $5.50 (Regular rate of $8- Savings of $2.50)
Senior (65+) - $6.75 (Regular rate of $10- Savings of $3.25 )

After you have completed the attached contract a Denver Zoo representative will contact you to answer any questions and provide you with a unique account code and password that will allow you to purchase highly discounted Denver Zoo admission tickets online.
As an incentive to introduce your employees to the wonders of Denver Zoo we have created a rewards program. At the end of the year, Denver Zoo will award prizes to the three individuals who sell the most Denver Zoo tickets in 2010. The company contact that sells the most tickets will receive an exclusive behind the scenes tour for up to four individuals, second place will receive a family membership and third place will receive four Denver Zoo daytime admission passes and four Zoo Lights passes.

Tourism Sales Ordering Policies:
- Tickets may not be sold for more than the consignment ticket prices listed above.
- Tickets are valid January 1–December 31, 2010 daytime admission only.
- Passes may not be used for evening events or special priced events.
- For your security please do not distribute your access code to outside sources
- In order to qualify for 2011 consignment ticket pricing your company must sell more than 100 tickets in 2010.
- Summer season is from March 1-October 31 and winter season is November 1-February 28.
- Zoo Lights consignment contracts will be distributed in the September. Zoo Lights is from December 10, 2010-January 2, 2011 from 5-9 pm.

Q: How old do children have to be to come to the Zoo by themselves?
A: Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a person 16 years or older.
Q: Where are your restrooms located?
A: We have restrooms at the Main Gate, Gates Education Center, Congo Basin, Bird World, Tropical Discovery, Giraffes, and in the Feline buildings. See our map for locations. Full-service restroom facilities that accommodate the physically challenged are available in Tropical Discovery, Primate Panorama and the Gates Center. Baby changing stations are available at all locations.
Q: Do you have any family restrooms or a place for nursing?
A: Yes, family restrooms are available at the Main Gate and are private for nursing. We also have a family baby changing area at the restrooms located in Primate Panorama.
Q: Can I smoke anywhere in the Zoo?
A: No, but if you exit the Main Gate and get your hand stamped you may smoke in the designated smoking area and re-enter the Zoo.
Q: Can we bring our own picnic to the Zoo?
A: Yes, you may bring in picnics for small family gatherings and there are picnic areas in Giraffe Meadows and the Sycamore Grove across from the Okapi exhibit. We just ask that you do not bring straws, alcohol or glass containers. Why no straws? For the safety of our animals we do not allow straws on Zoo grounds.
If you have a larger group to accommodate, we ask that you please contact our Rentals Department for more information at 303-376-4873. In this case we do provide catering and all events must use our in-house catering department.
Q: Where do I park and is there a fee?
A: You may park in any of the parking lots adjacent to the zoo or our 4-level parking garage. All of our parking is free.
Q: Are there any places to buy a meal?
A: Yes, Samburu Grille, Northern Shores and Brown Bear offer a variety of food items.
Q: Do you have any free days?
A: We have eight free days annually. They are listed at the top right hand side of this page.
Q: Do you have another gate?
A: No, the Main Entrance is now the only gate in operation.
Q: Do you have lockers to rent out?
A: We have baskets for storage that can be rented for $3 each.
Q: Do you have wheelchairs and strollers for rent?
A: Yes, we have push wheelchairs for $4/day and motorized wheelchairs for $25/day (must be 18 years of age to operate; no reservations can be made, it is first come first served). Strollers are $4/day. Wagons are $6/day.
Q: Do you allow heely shoes and skateboards?
A: No, for safety, self-propelled or motorized riding conveyances i.e. skates (wheels must be removed from heelies), skateboards, roller blades, scooters, cycles, big wheels, electric powered toys/riding toys, etc) are not allowed.
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: No, for safety, pets of any kind are not allowed on Zoo grounds. Assistance animals are allowed with some restrictions. Please check in with security at the main gate if you plan on bringing a service animal to the Zoo.
Q: Are there other items that are not allowed in the Zoo?
A: Yes, for the safety of the animal collection, items such as balloons, confetti, flags, straws, boom boxes, loud toys, horns, laser pens, flashlights, stilts, etc., are not allowed. The Zoo reserves the right to refuse any other items that animal staff advises may cause distress to the collection.
Q: Can we feed the animals?
A: No, visitors may not feed, tease, throw objects at or attempt to contact any of the animal collection including the free roaming animals; violation is subject to removal from zoo grounds and/or prosecution.
Q: Do you have an ATM?
A: An ATM is located in the Kibongi Market at the Main Entrance.
Q: Where would I find an item I lost at the Zoo?
A: Located at the Welcome Center in the Main Entrance.
Q: Where can I find first aid?
A: We take care of "owies," and, if needed, paramedic service is available. Please ask any security officer or employee to assist you.

A: Denver Zoo donates a set amount of Family Four pack tickets each year to charity partners and non-profit organizations to be used for fund-raising opportunities.
