Toyota Elephant PassageSNEAK PEEKS – May 19-30

Denver Zoo is offering Sneak Peeks for guests to see Toyota Elephant Passage May 19 – 30 before it opens to the public on June 1. For an additional fee guests can experience the new exhibit with the purchase of a timed entry reservation to access the exhibit. Zoo guests can enter the zoo at anytime. However, timed entry tickets are required to enter Toyota Elephant Passage at your designated time during Sneak Peeks. Space is limited and the most popular times are expected to sell out quickly.

What is a Sneak Peek ticket and why is Denver Zoo using this system?
Sneak Peek tickets allow guests to see Toyota Elephant Passage before we open to the public on June 1. For an extra fee guests can purchase a ticket to see the exhibit at a designated time May 19-30. Timed entry reservations offer visitors the ability to select specific times to enjoy the exhibit. Guests may enter the zoo at anytime during the day with their Sneak Peek ticket. However, they must enter Toyota Elephant Passage at the designated entry time.

Do I also have to pay admission fees to the zoo if I am buying a Sneak Peek ticket?
No. Sneak Peek tickets include admission into Denver Zoo.

Do I need a Sneak Peek ticket to enter the zoo?
No. You may enter the zoo at anytime. However you must be at the east Toyota Elephant Passage entrance by the time designated on your Sneak Peek ticket.

Do I have to buy a Sneak Peek ticket to see Toyota Elephant Passage?
No. Sneak Peek tickets are only for those who want to see the exhibit May 19-30, before it opens to the public (June 1 is our grand opening). If you wait until June 1 to see the exhibit, you may reserve a free timed entry reservation for access to the Toyota Elephant Passage exhibit. At that time entry to the exhibit is included with your general admission. Your entry reservation will be required at the Toyota Elephant Passage entrance. Where do I get my Sneak Peek tickets?
Reserving your timed entry to Toyota Elephant Passage in advance online will expedite your visit and ensure you have access to the exhibit on the day of your visit.  Same day Sneak Peek tickets will only be available for purchase at the zoo.

I am coming to visit the zoo today but I don’t see any timed Sneak Peek tickets available on the website?
Online Sneak Peek tickets are available in advance only, for reservations the day of your visit please visit the box office.

What if I don’t get a Sneak Peek tickets online?
You may obtain Sneak Peek tickets the day of your visit, based on availability, at the Denver Zoo Box Office.  We make every effort to accommodate guests without advance tickets. However, availability is limited and advance ticket sales are recommended.

Where do I park?
We anticipate being very busy during the opening of Toyota Elephant Passage and are recommending you arrive at Denver Zoo 1 hour before the time on your Sneak Peek ticket in order to find parking and make your way to the entry of Toyota Elephant Passage.  The exhibit entry is at least a 15 minute walk from the main gate of the zoo.

I am a Member. Do I need a Sneak Peek ticket?
Members will need a Sneak Peek ticket to enter Toyota Elephant Passage May 19-30.  June 1 and beyond, members will need to reserve a free timed entry reservation to enter the zoo.  

Where do I go to enter Toyota Elephant Passage?
Entry to the exhibit will be on the East side of Toyota Elephant Passage. You may access the east entrance area from either the west or east side of the zoo. However visitor entry into the exhibit will not be allowed from the west.

How long will it take me to get to the exhibit?
Please anticipate at least one hour to find parking, enter the zoo and make it to the timed ticket entry.  We anticipate you will need 30 minutes from the time you enter the zoo to get to the site, add 30 minutes if you would like to see Tropical Discovery before heading to Toyota Elephant Passage.

What if I lose my Sneak Peek ticket?
Please check in at any Box Office window to retrieve a new set of tickets.

What if I am late for my time slot?
Denver Zoo will make every effort to accommodate late arrivals, but, we recommend you plan to enter within the 15 minutes after your scheduled time to better enjoy your experience.

Do children need Sneak Peek tickets?
Children ages 2 and under do require guests to reserve a Sneak Peek ticket for this age. However there is no charge for children this young. Requiring a ticket allows Denver Zoo to maintain a capacity for the exhibit and accommodate for strollers.

My reservation is for 10 a.m. The next slot is at 11 a.m. Can I only stay for one hour?
The time on your reservation only dictates when you may enter Toyota Elephant Passage. Once you’ve entered the exhibit, you can stay until the exhibit closes. We use a timed entry reservation system to control the flow of visitors and to ensure that you have a pleasant visit.

What do I do if I don't receive an email attachment with a barcode?
You may resend your Sneak Peek ticket from our online ticketing system by logging in and navigating to your account section.  Once in your account information, navigate to the order history and re-send your reservations.  We advise double checking your email address in your account setting before resending reservations.  Also, be sure to check your spam or junk folder to see if was automatically sorted.
In addition, you may bring your order (confirmation) number to the ticket window along with a photo ID and have a new ticket issued.

Can I get into Toyota Elephant Passage with just my Membership Card?
Members can enter the zoo at anytime. However, Sneak Peek tickets will be required to enter Toyota Elephant Passage May 19 -30. FREE timed entry reservations will be required to enter the exhibit from June 1 through August 19, free of charge.  We recommend you obtain your timed entry reservations prior to your visit. Space is limited.

 




Toyota Elephant Passage TIMED ENTRY RESERVATION
BEGINS JUNE 1 FOR TOYOTA ELEPHANT PASSAGE

With the opening of the much anticipated Toyota Elephant Passage, record attendance is expected and free timed entry reservations are required to enter the exhibit. Making your reservation in advance online is highly recommended to ensure access. Entry times are scheduled every 15 minutes between the hours of 9:15 a.m. and 4 p.m. Reservations can be made separately from regular zoo admission ticket purchases. Once you enter Toyota Elephant Passage, you'll be able to explore as long as you like.

What is a timed entry reservation and why is Denver Zoo using this system?
Timed entry reservations offer visitors the ability to select specific times to enjoy Denver Zoo's newest exhibit, Toyota Elephant Passage. With a free timed entry reservation, a pre-established number of guests enter during each interval, allowing guests to enjoy shorter lines and a better viewing experience.


How much will my timed entry reservations cost?
Beginning June 1, admission to the exhibit will be FREE, but a timed entry reservation will be required. Reservations can be made separately from regular zoo admission ticket purchases.
