EVENT ENHANCEMENTS
Looking for ways to take your event to the next level? Denver Zoo offers several options to enhance and enrich your wild event from animal meet and greets to train rides and gift shop items. For more info please call 720-337-1473.
Animal Meet and Greets (Daytime or After Hours Parties)
Give your guests a special meet and greet with some of the Denver Zoo’s Wild Inhabitants. A variety of animals can be added to your guest list for a personal visit with your group.
$250 for 2 zoo representatives and 4 educational animals
 WildLife Show (After Hours Party)
Watch free-flight birds and talented mammals entertain and educate your guests. This 20 minute presentation takes place in the WildLife Amphitheatre located next to the Conoco Zoo Garden pavilion.
$500 for a presentation, 3 staff members and multiple animals
* Please note this can only be rented during a Zoo buyout or if your event is located in the Conoco Zoo Gardens Zone.
Train & Carousel Rental (After Hours Parties)
Take a ride on the Wild Side! Climb aboard the Pioneer Train at Denver Zoo. Perfect for families with little ones, the train offers a quick trip around the zoo’s carousel meadow filled with beautiful lush foliage, under the shade of 100-year-old trees. Hop aboard and enjoy seeing our American and Chilean flamingos and other waterfowl just outside the zoo’s primate panorama exhibit. Denver Zoo’s Pioneer Train is the first natural gas-powered zoo train in any zoo in the United States. You can also take a trip around the animal world on Denver Zoo's Endangered Species Carousel! It features hand-carved wooden replicas of some of Denver's most popular residents including a polar bear mom and cubs, giraffes, okapi and baby gorilla.
Make arrangements with our Catering Department, to have these attractions open during your event. See catering menu for pricing (pdf).
Please note these can only be rented during a Zoo buyout or if your event is located in the Conoco Zoo Gardens Zone or Primate Panorama zone and is rented first come first serve if both zones are rented.
Kibongi Market & Creature Cash
Make sure to ask about zoomazing giveaways for your guests. Our Kibongi Market offers a wide variety of unique gifts from jewelry to gift baskets and much more and will be sure to delight all of your guests. Don’t forget to add on creature cash for your event. Guests can use creature cash to purchase food items, Lorikeet Adventure nectar, souvenirs and rides on the train and carousel. Please call our Catering Department at 720-337-1472 for more information.
ALL arrangements must be made at least 1 MONTH prior to your event. All dates are on a first come first serve basis. If event is less than one month out please call for availability.
