If you were expecting a quiet visit to our Northern Shores exhibit, you may have been barking up the wrong rock! Each of Denver Zoo’s six California sea lions have distinctive vocalizations—and Nick, the most boisterous of the bunch, can often be heard deep into City Park, Park Hill and other surrounding neighborhoods.  

Lucky for you, though, our plush sea lions are much more subdued. With your symbolic adoption, you’re helping us provide cutting-edge care for Nick, Luci, Ady, Maverick, Duke, Gunnison and the rest of our 3,000 wild animals—while also supporting our mission of Inspiring Communities to Save Wildlife for Future Generations.
