You\u2019ll just have to find out for yourself!)<\/li>\n<li>A SUPER SNAZZY Advisory Council t-shirt<\/li>\n<li>Food at each meeting\/event (yum!)<\/li>\n<li>\u200bBus passes\/gas cards to get you to and from the meetings\/events<\/li>\n<li>Free admission to Denver Zoo<\/li>\n<li>\u200bMultiple opportunities to interact and collaborate with Denver Zoo staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>\n\t\tWHO are we looking for &#038; WHAT\u2019S the big idea?!<br \/>\n\t<\/h1>\n<h2>\n\t\tWe are looking for teens who are excited about&#8230;<br \/>\n\t<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Working together to share the teen perspective and share their voice to make change at Denver Zoo<\/li>\n<li>Planning, marketing, and facilitating events for their peers in their communities<\/li>\n<li>Creating and implementing innovative strategies to help Denver Zoo understand and recognize the value of its teen guests<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating with their peers to help shape the future of teen programs at Denver Zoo<\/li>\n<li>Sharing the AWESOME things that happen at Denver Zoo through social media outlets<\/li>\n<li>Learning what it takes to create a foundation for and to be a part of a teen advisory group<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>*We are no longer accepting applications for 2018,\u00a0 Please stay connected with us and check back Spring 2019.<\/h5>\n<p>\t\t\t<a href=\"\/teen-interest-form\" target=\"_self\" role=\"button\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tStay Connected<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>WHAT is expected to be a part of the council?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to commit to a year on the council (May 2018-May 2019)<\/li>\n<li>Freshman (starting Fall 2018), Sophomore, Junior, or Senior (starting Fall 2018) in high school<\/li>\n<li>Attend monthly meetings \u00a0at Denver Zoo (every 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0Wednesday of the month @ 5:00pm-7:00pm \u2013 see full meeting list below)\u00a0<em>If you are unavailable for more than 1 meeting, we ask that they do not apply at this time<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Attend a half day of training on Saturday, May 12<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Available to host two \u201cafter hours\u201d events at Denver Zoo in addition to meetings (Dates TBD)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\t[dz_slideshow]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WHAT\u2019s in it for YOU?
