Scout Nights: Boo at the Zoo
Even creepy crawlies need healthy habitats! Gather your scouts and join us for an exclusive educational experience followed by access to the event of the season: Boo at the Zoo. Explore how bats, bugs and birds play important roles in the habitats we share and find out how you can make our wild spaces less spooky for all!
From 4:00-6:00pm, scouts are invited to drop by to engage with interactive learning activities, meet animal ambassadors up-close, connect to the natural world, and earn a special patch. This program pairs perfectly with an evening of trick-or-treating!

This program is designed for participants in grades Kindergarten-5th grade

Includes discounted Boo at the Zoo admission

Program runs 4:00–6:00 p.m., followed by access to our Boo at the Zoo event through 9:00 p.m.

- Chaperones
Compliance with the chaperone policy is required for program participation. Every group visiting Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance must have at least one adult per 10 scouts, regardless of age.
- Reschedule + Cancellations
Space in our programs is limited. To leave space for other groups, please attend the programs for which you register and let us know at least 48 hours in advance of any change. Moving to another program date is contingent upon availability and may incur a nominal administrative fee.

Boo at the Zoo
This beloved trick-or-treating experience is back and better than ever! This timed, ticketed event is designed to minimize crowds and maximize fun. Enjoy mysterious cryptid creatures, candy stations, seasonal snacks and maximized Halloween fun for little ones and everyone. With something magical around every corner, it’s the best place in town to trick-or-treat!
