Camp Conservation
Calling all K-12 educators! Embark on a wild adventure at Camp Conservation, a 3-day summer camp designed just for you. Connect real-world conservation to student learning goals while engaging with experts and participating in hands-on conservation work. You’ll collaborate with peers, meet some amazing animals, and walk away inspired to help students make a difference in their own communities.
LOCATION
Two days at Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance + one day at Daniels Park, a DZCA field conservation site. (Attendee provides transportation)DATES + TIMES

June 16 – 18, 2025 (M–W)
July 9 – 11, 2025 (W–F)COST
$195 per person – includes all-day Zoo admission, lunch, snacks, and certificate of clock hours.- Programming
Included in this Teacher Professional Development Program:
- Immersive hands-on learning at the Zoo and a local DZCA field conservation site.
- Connection with DZCA conservationists, Animal Care Specialists and other experts, not to mention some really cool animals!
- Engaging animal experiences.
- Networking and brainstorming with fellow educators and conservation experts.
- Conservation resources and connections to classroom content.
- Lots of time outside in the beautiful Colorado sunshine—pack that sunscreen!
- Lunch, Zoo treats and a special DZCA souvenir.

- Reschedule + Cancelation
To cancel or transfer a program, please contact guestcare@denverzoo.org at least three weeks prior to your scheduled program date.
Transfer Fees: Transfer fee of $25 applies to any date or program change. We cannot guarantee availability in future workshops.
Cancelation Fees: All sales are final, unless the Zoo must cancel the program. Exceptions can be requested in the case of family medical emergencies or severe illness.
