Giraffe Feeding
A VIP giraffe encounter with our tall trio!
Join our amazing reticulated giraffe herd for an exclusive encounter! With this special and intimate experience, you’ll have the opportunity to “buy out” a giraffe feeding for up to six members of your personal pod. Our knowledgeable giraffe experts will be on hand to help you get to know each member of the herd as you learn about their unique personalities and biology-including their prehensile tongues, 25-pound hearts and adorable ossicones.
Restrictions
- You and your group must be willing to use provided hand sanitizer throughout the experience.
- Program is for up to 6 total individuals.
- Program fee does not include admission to Denver Zoo. Admission tickets must be purchased separately. You must have general admission tickets for the date of your experience prior to purchase.
- This experience is non-refundable and nontransferable.
- Late arrivals cannot be accommodated. Your group should be at Concierge for check-in no later than 30 minutes before the encounter.
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paid participant that is 16 years of age or older.
- Any children under the age of 2 must be held or securely with an adult at all times.
- Denver Zoo reserves the right to re-route or cancel any tour due to animal health or safety concerns. In the event of cancellation, efforts will be made to reschedule you on a later date.
- Giraffe Feeding will occur rain or shine.
- There is limited access for service animals during this experience. Please call 720-337-1400 to confirm.
