An Immersive Stingray + Shark Encounter
Seeking an escape to the azure waters and bio-diverse ecosystems of Baja California? It’s time to reserve our NEW Wading with the Rays experience at Stingray Cove™! During this unforgettable encounter, you’ll meet the friendly assortment of rays and sharks that call Stingray Cove home—and learn all about how we ensure they receive world-class care in their 15,000-gallon home, here in the Mile High City. The highlight is the opportunity to climb into the shallow pool to do the Stingray Shuffle! With this special and intimate experience, up to 4 members of your personal pod ages 12 and over can join in the fun.

- A towel to dry off

- Have allergies to shellfish or fish
- Have difficulty walking or maintaining balance, especially through water (water is approximately 2.5 feet deep)
- Have difficulty sitting or swinging legs into pool
- Have open wounds, including recent stitches or tattoos

general experience rules
- You must wear a mask for the entirety of this experience.
- Program is for up to 4 total individuals.
- All program participants must be over the age of 12.
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paid participant that is 16 years of age or older.
- Program fee does not include admission to Denver Zoo. Admission tickets must be purchased separately. You must purchase general admission tickets for the date of your experience, prior to purchasing Wading with the Rays tickets.
- We recommend that you purchase admission tickets for earlier in the day so that you can end your visit with your Stingray Cove.
- Entry tickets for 12:00pm or earlier will allow you ample time to enjoy the park.
- This experience is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Denver Zoo reserves the right to re-route or cancel any tour due to animal health or safety concerns. In the event of cancellation, efforts will be made to reschedule you on a later date.
- There is limited access for service animals during this experience. Please call 720-337-1400 to confirm.
