Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance offers 15% discounts for non-profit and government agencies, as well as 15% off for members.
Public Hours Events
Events during public operating hours can take place between 9:00–4:00 p.m. from October to April. Events from Memorial Day to Labor Day can take place between 8:00–4:00 p.m.
Rental packages include a specific allotment of admission tickets with additional tickets billed post-event based on attendance.
Please Note: Full buyouts are not available during public operating hours. If you are interested in a full buyout, please see the after-hours events details below.
After-Hours Events
Events occurring after we close to the public are available from January through the first Thursday in November from 5:30–9:00 p.m.
Rental packages include a specific allotment of admission tickets with additional tickets billed post-event based on attendance.

Corporate Event Venues at Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance
Our corporate meeting and event venues include both indoor and outdoor locations and are perfect for groups of all sizes. Please see below for photos and additional information about our venues.
Bighorn, Crane, Trout
Located within Norgren Hall, two air walls turn one large room into three smaller spaces available for booking. With floor-to-ceiling windows and a spectacular view of Predator Ridge, these smaller event venues are ideal for a unique corporate meeting or any small indoor gathering.

Norgren Hall
Norgren Hall is our largest indoor facility with floor-to-ceiling windows and a spectacular view of Predator Ridge. Two air walls within the banquet hall can be used to create smaller spaces perfect for breakout rooms. This spacious event venue is ideal for a unique corporate meeting or any indoor gathering.

Grasslands Studio, Treetops Studio
Our studios (located inside the Gates Education Center) are ideal for small meetings or can be used as breakout rooms. Grasslands and Treetops Studios are available individually utilizing a removable air wall or can be combined for hosting a larger occasion. Private entrances are available in each room.

Gates Education Center Buyout
Gates Education Center is perfect for large groups wanting an indoor venue with options to use the separate studios as breakout session rooms. Located at the front of the Zoo near the Main Entrance, it’s easily accessible for guests. Venue includes rental of Norgren Hall, Grasslands and Treetops Studios, all of which are located on the 1st floor.

Kibongi Conference Room
Add a unique twist to your next business meeting by hosting it in Kibongi Conference Room, our private conference room located above the Denver Zoo Gift Store. Audio-visual equipment is included with this space to ensure your meeting is a success. Venue includes use of the Kibongi flex space, located just outside the conference room.

Pahali ya Simba
Pahali ya Simba (place of the lions) is an indoor event venue that allows you to be mere inches away from the fascinating predator species of Africa’s Samburu region—including African lions and spotted hyenas. This venue is ideal for smaller groups looking to have a unique experience of dining alongside some of our most popular residents!

Zoo Gardens Pavilion + Plaza
Our largest event venue, Zoo Gardens Pavilion and Plaza can accommodate guests at any time of year underneath the expansive, heated pavilion and adjoining outdoor patio plaza. This indoor/outdoor venue is perfect for large groups, offering options for cocktails, dining, entertainment, presentations or even a visit from our Animal Ambassadors!

Wildlife Plaza
This open-air event venue gives your guests access to the vibrant area opposite Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Animal Hospital. Enjoy a private, shaded plaza where your guests can mingle while enjoying views of wild dogs, cape buffalo, and our black rhino, Rudy, as they play. This outdoor venue is available seasonally, for 2026 this venue will NOT be available from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Zoo Gardens Pavilion + Plaza and Wildlife Plaza
For an even bigger bash, the Zoo Gardens Pavilion and Plaza is available with the addition of the Wildlife Plaza, accommodating up to 700 guests at any time of year. Enjoy the expansive, heated pavilion, adjoining outdoor patio plaza and the open-air shaded plaza with all the views, wildlife and an abundance of space for guests to enjoy. Wildlife Plaza for 2026 will NOT be available from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Toyota Elephant Passage
Whisk your event away to tropical Asia, or at least to the heart of Toyota Elephant Passage! One of the largest elephant habitats in North America, Toyota Elephant Passage is a beautifully unique setting for larger events that provides unforgettable viewing of our elephant herd and greater one-horned rhino. Eat, drink and enjoy the scenery while also spotting otters!

Tropical Discovery
Immerse your guests in a lush, rain forest-inspired environment in our Tropical Discovery Venue. As part of the unique experience, guests will be surrounded by reptiles, sloths, and vibrant fish species. This captivating environment allows your guests to explore and appreciate the rich biodiversity, making your event both memorable and educational.
Flamingo Habitat
When it comes to your next event, start thinking pink! Our Flamingo Habitat is the perfect setting for mingling your flock with ours, with plenty of American and Chilean flamingos to observe. Nestled by Harmony Hill, you can also peek at our rescued leucistic raccoons and catch a glimpse of Tundra, our grizzly bear.

Primate Panorama Deck
Host your next event on a private deck in Primate Panorama! Western lowland gorillas and Sumatran orangutans roam freely in their separate spacious habitats nearby while you enjoy your event from your umbrella-shaded table. Ideal for corporate luncheons, happy hours or relaxed outdoor gatherings. Available seasonally, April through October.
The Cove + The Lookout
Situated just behind the sea lion habitat, The Cove + The Lookout offers an energizing outdoor setting where guests can enjoy views and sounds of our California sea lions throughout the day. This shaded habitat‑side space is ideal for receptions, breakout sessions, or casual meetings with a distinctly coastal feel.
Seaside Deck
Located next to the sea lion habitat, the Seaside Deck offers an intimate outdoor patio with views and sounds that bring the experience to life. This relaxed, flexible venue is perfect for small gatherings, breakout sessions, or a casual outdoor meeting space with a unique connection to our California sea lions.
Full Zoo Buyout
(After-Hours Only)
With an after-hours Zoo buyout, you can make the Zoo exclusively yours for your group’s private event! Whether you’re hosting your company’s black-tie gala or a casual staff appreciation party, you and your guests will have exclusive after-hours access to one of Denver’s most beloved event venues for an incredibly unique experience you won’t soon forget! Compared to regular after-hours events, full Zoo buyouts allow your guests much more access to our 80-acre campus, including indoor and outdoor animal viewing as well as opportunities for additional event experiences and enhancements, such as large animal demonstrations and Animal Care Specialist talks with elephants, lions and hyenas. After-hours buyouts take place after we close to the public from January through the first Thursday in November, between 5:30–9:00 p.m.
Capacity: Up to 4,500
Venue includes 500 admission tickets after hours.
