Member Sea Lion Habitat Preview Event

Let’s welcome summer, and our sea lions, with a splash!

As a valuable part of DZCA’s membership family, you are invited to be among the first to welcome back our sea lions, experience their new home, and view the progress on our soon-to-open underground viewing area. Our five beloved sea lions have been away from DZCA since the fall of 2023 while we’ve been hard at work building an incredible new habitat for our flippered friends.

This members-only event kicks off extended summer Zoo hours before they begin for the general public on June 20.

The Herd is DZCA’s collaborative cohort of like-minded young people who want to engage the next generation in support of wildlife conservation, animal care and welfare.  

Summer Adult Nights

Experience summer nights at the Zoo—without the kids! Whether you’re planning a date night or a fun evening with friends, our 21+ Adult Nights offer a fun, after-hours escape just for grown-ups. Your admission includes a complimentary canned alcoholic drink (non-alcoholic and GF options available), FREE Carousel karaoke, animal demonstrations, trivia, live music, and a silent disco. Our summer Adult Nights offer a rare opportunity to enjoy DZCA without the crowds—or the kids!

Due to popular demand, we’re hosting three Adult Nights this summer! These events sell out fast—secure your tickets before they’re gone.

Join us for an all-new immersive lantern event, with a tailored experience to ensure an inclusive evening for guests living with sensory processing disorders. This brilliant event features 60 unique scenes made up of over 145 lanterns across our campus. These beautiful, gleaming displays feature flora and fauna from across the world—with interactive surprises all along the way! Join Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance at the 2025 Colfax Marathon and run for a cause! Every contribution will help support animal enrichment, helping ensure our animals stay active and healthy. How to Run for DZCA

1. Visit the Colfax Marathon website
   Select Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance as your Charity Partner and follow the prompts. See Registration Process
2. Any race counts!
   Choose any race—5k, 10-Miler, Half or Full Marathon—and make a difference. Already registered? You can still designate DZCA as your charity. Need help? Email support@denverzoo.org.
3. Get wild swag
   Fundraise for Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance or make a direct donation to earn exclusive swag and help our animals thrive!
