African Penguin Talk – 9:45 (Sun, Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat)
Location: Pachyderm Building
Feel free to Bring Your Own Breakfast and join our penguins for the most important meal of the day! We will provide some “insider info” as the penguins get their specialized diet of fish and vitamins. Bring your coffee and questions!
Wild Encounters – 10:00
Location: Wildlife Plaza
You never know what, or who, you might meet at Wild Encounters. From parrots, to hawks, to porcupines and anteaters, each day is different and sure to delight!
Mandrill Talk – 10:15
Location: Congo Basin
Learn more about our family troop (and keep an eye out for baby Akili!) of one of the world’s most colorful and charismatic monkeys. Look for us to be there to share about their care!
Toyota Elephant Passage Animal Demonstration – 10:30
Location: Toyota Elephant Passage Theater
Did you know that Denver Zoo cares for the largest animal in Colorado? You may be joined by Groucho, one or more of our five Asian elephants, or even a rhino during this larger than life demonstration!
Tiger Talk – 11:00 (Mon, Wed, Sat)
Location: The Edge
Amur tigers live on the Edge as they try to adapt to shrinking habitats. Get a chance to connect with these endangered animals and learn how we care for them here at the zoo.
Grizzly Bear Talk – 11:00 (Sun, Tues, Thurs, Fri)
Location: Harmony Hill
Whether it’s grizzly bears in the north or black bears in Colorado, it’s our responsibility to learn how to co-exist safely with these often-misunderstood animals. You may get the chance to connect with Tundra, who came to the zoo due to human-animal conflict.
Predator Ridge Animal Demonstration – 12:00
Location: Varies. See signs inside Pahali ya Simba for daily locations
Predator Ridge is home to our lions and hyenas, not to mention our African wild dog family in their new “digs!” You never know who you might encounter or what they might be doing – but you will get a chance to better connect with our famous African predators.
Wild Encounters – 1:30

Gibbon Talk – 2:00
Location: Toyota Elephant Passage
“Swing” by to learn more about Vinh and Briscoe’s training as they move from island to island and do what gibbons do best. You ape-solutely don’t want to miss this!
Sea Lion Talk – 2:30
Location: Large pool near Lighthouse Pizza
Both playful and intelligent, the sea lions are ready to impress as they work with their keepers through their daily training routines. A Zoo Mission Ambassador will be on hand to educate guests and answer questions.

Dinner’s served! Catch a glimpse as our penguin care experts as they feed each penguin a specialized diet of fish and vitamins. Bring your own dinner and questions for after the feeding!
