  • Can I loan out my membership card to a friend or family member?

  • Can I use my membership at other zoos?

No. At this time, we do not participate in any reciprocity programs.

  • How does DZCA use my membership dollars?

In addition to providing world-class care for more than 2,500 of our wild and wonderful animals, your membership supports our wildlife conservation efforts in Colorado and worldwide. Since 1996, the Zoo has participated in more than 600 conservation projects in 62 countries spanning six continents. Your membership helps make all of this possible—thank you!

  • How can I find out what’s going on the day of my visit?

Our daily schedule is always available on the app, as well as on the Daily Schedule page of our website.

  • How much of my membership is tax deductible?

As a nonprofit organization, Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance is required by the IRS to provide written disclosure of the fair market value of benefits received. Based on IRS guidelines, the fair market value of your membership is $0, and therefore your membership contribution is fully tax deductible. We also recommend consulting with your tax advisor.
