Affordable Virtual Programs with No Capacity Limits

Ideal for large groups, small groups and individual learners, our engaging and affordable Wild Discovery events give participants the opportunity to unite across Colorado and beyond to study wildlife and conservation with education experts from Denver Zoo.

Elementary

Animal Academy (Grades K–2)

Join the fictional Animal Academy as new recruits and earn your Spots and Stripes badge! Your mission?  Explore animal adaptations, ecosystems, and lifecycles by making observations, asking questions and finding connections!

Important Logistical Information

  • No capacity limits 
  • Participants join an event offered on select dates and times, set in advance
  • Engage with content and other participants via chat function  
  • Open to all age-appropriate participants from any group or learning setting 
  • Wild Discovery logistics, including login information, will be sent to registrant week of program 
  • Registered participants must provide an adult representative to actively assist with participant behavior management, moderate technology and monitor chat discussion

Looking for a more intimate experience featuring one-on-one interaction with Denver Zoo's knowledgeable educators and wonderful animals? Book a Classroom Safari for up to 30 participants. Teachers, we also offer an intensive Conservation Challenge curriculum with robust learning resources.
