We are happy to support student inquiries into animals, animal care, conservation, sustainability and other related topics to the best of our ability.
Educators: Please be aware when making assignments that involve contacting the Zoo that our staff is unable to respond to interview requests in person or by telephone. Students may send 3–5 questions via email to guestcare@denverzoo.org. Due to the large number of requests, we aim but cannot guarantee answers to inquiries within 10 business days. Many career-focused questions can be addressed on our Student Career Resources page.

Vendor Opportunities
Denver Zoo has joined the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System, operated by BidNet Direct. The Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System is used by over 300 local agencies across Colorado and Wyoming to publish bidding opportunities and efficiently reach a community of vendors interested in partnership with public sector entities. The Denver Zoo is currently soliciting Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) from General Contractors and Architectural/Engineering Services to pre-qualify to receive Request for Proposals (RFP) for DesignBuild services for several projects contained in the Zoo’s 7-Year Zoo Implementation Plan, or ZIP.
