Schedule a private holiday party (or even buy out the entire zoo) and experience a light safari with more than 60 brilliantly-illuminated acres of lights, featuring more than 150 animated animal sculptures that swing through trees, jump across lawns, hide in bushes and appear in places where they’re least expected.

We Zoo Birthdays!
Looking for a great way to experience the Denver Zoo to celebrate your child’s birthday? Check out our We Zoo Birthday Package. Enjoy a private birthday space, CubHouse, located in our upper deck in Northern Shores; surrounded by our ever-exciting sea lions, Explore the Shores kids play area & Splash park, and the new Harmony Hills Park (grizzly bears). Our birthday package is ideal for children ages 3 and up. (Do not be shy, adult birthday parties are ok too)

Reunions
If it is that time of year again for the big family reunion that you have been dreading since the last boring one, let our over 80 acres and 4,000 animals provide a backdrop to a new kind of reunion. Rent our private indoor event space or gorgeous giraffe meadow and enjoy our incredible food, vast array of unique experiences and end the reunion with a family carousel picture. Imagine you and the entire family poised on our carousel for that one-of-a-kind lasting memory.

zoo lights buyout nights
Ever thought of renting out the entire Zoo for your very own Zoo Lights party? Private buyout preview nights are now available for 2020. You can invite 1,000 or more of your friends or coworkers to enjoy the magic of Zoo lights before it opens to the public. Zoo Lights Holiday
Zoo Lights provides the perfect backdrop for holiday celebrations. Come and experience a light safari with more than 60 brilliantly-illuminated acres of lights, featuring more than 150 animated animal sculptures that swing through trees, jump across lawns, hide in bushes and appear in places where they’re least expected. As part of the event rental package, you will receive a private room and admission to Zoo Lights. Zoo Lights private events are available from 11/15-12/31.
NEW IN 2020: Rent the heated corporate pavilion for your zoo lights party. With seating for up to 275 guests (5700 sq ft), the Pavilion is our newest addition to the zoo lights festivities. Enjoy our covered pavilion and outdoor plaza complete with firepits for smore’s, farm tables inside the pavilion, full bar and a wide variety of food and beverage options. Host up to 500 in the pavilion/plaza. Whether you are trying to wow your customers, or just let your employees know how special they are, the Pavilion and it’s opportunities are endless.
Zoo Lights Private Rentals:
Preview Night Zoo Buyout: $13,500 (includes 1,000 admission tickets) – a few dates still available
Zoo Gardens Pavilion (seats up to 275): $6,500 (includes 225 admission tickets)
Gates Center Buyout-Norgren Hall and both Studios (seats up to 300): $6,500
(includes 225 admission tickets)
Norgen Hall (seats up to 200): $5,000 (includes 150 admission tickets)
Studio Suites (each studio seats up to 50): $1,150 (includes 35 admission tickets)
(Additional admission tickets for private events are available for $15 each).
Catering minimum spend not included in rental cost. Parking is complimentary and each private event will have access to a private, VIP gate entrance. Zoo Lights private rentals are required to use our electronic ticketing for attendee entrance. Each attendee over the age of 2 must have a ticket to enter the Zoo. Private rentals are available nightly from 5:30-9:00pm.
Ask about our private buyout nights. A limited number of dates are now available for a 2020 preview buyout night. Experience the magic of Zoo Lights with 1,000 or more of your coworkers and friends before it opens to the public.
