Looking for ways to take your event to the next level? Denver Zoo offers several options to enhance and enrich your event from animal encounters to rides on the Conservation Carousel and a variety of guest souvenirs.
Give your guests a special meet and greet with some of the Denver Zoo’s wild inhabitants. A variety of animals can be added to your guest list for a personal visit with your group.
$250 for 2 zoo representatives and 4 educational animals
Enjoy an exclusive presentation featuring a Denver Zoo elephant and their zookeeper. Your group will get to learn about the largest living land mammal in the world in this up-close, private demonstration.

Add a private, behind-the-scenes close-up experience with the lions, hyenas or wild dogs to your event. Find out how zookeepers monitor their health and keep them engaged and active every day.

Enjoy a private performance of Denver Zoo’s Sea Lion Show. Your guests will get to watch these playful pinniped predators strut their stuff for the crowd.

Take a ride on the Wild Side! Climb aboard the Pioneer Train at Denver Zoo. Perfect for families with little ones, the train offers a quick trip around the zoo’s carousel meadow filled with beautiful lush foliage, under the shade of 100-year-old trees. Hop aboard and enjoy seeing our American and Chilean flamingos and other waterfowl just outside the zoo’s Primate Panorama exhibit. Denver Zoo’s Pioneer Train is the first natural gas-powered zoo train in any zoo in the United States. You can also take a trip around the animal world on Denver Zoo's Endangered Species Carousel! It features hand-carved wooden replicas of some of Denver's most popular residents including a polar bear mom and cubs, giraffes, okapi and baby gorilla.

Make sure to ask about zoomazing giveaways for your guests. Our Kibongi Market offers a wide variety of unique gifts from jewelry to gift baskets and much more and will be sure to delight all of your guests. Don’t forget to add on creature cash for your event. Guests can use creature cash to purchase food items, Lorikeet Adventure nectar, souvenirs and rides on the train and carousel. What unzoosual things can you find? We will send you off in the zoo to hunt and gather clues. We provide the clue sheets, pencils and a prize to be awarded to the wise owls who find them the quickest. Hunts are made to be done in teams and all materials are distributed the day of your event. Hunts generally run between 1-1.5 hours to complete.
