Toyota Safari Ride and Drive

Test drive a new Toyota vehicle and receive free admission for two adults courtesy of Your Hometown Toyota Stores!

This Toyota Safari Ride and Drive event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., features a variety of vehicles, and complimentary face painting for both kids and adults on the main plaza. If you are already a Zoo member and come to test drive a vehicle, Your Hometown Toyota Stores will make a $30 donation to the Denver Zoo’s Scholarship Fund, which makes it possible for all individuals, regardless of economic circumstances, to discover the wonders of animals through participation in Denver Zoo’s extensive education programs. Scout Night - Wildlife Champions

Join the call! Be a wildlife champion! Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and their families are invited to Denver Zoo for a special after-hours event that supports scout requirements while celebrating the wildlife champions around us every day. Create memorable experiences that cultivate the champion living in each and every one us! Scout Night features up-close animal encounters, games and activity stations throughout the Zoo, free carousel rides, entertainment, and a 2018 Scout Night commemorative patch!

Rise to life in the new Enchanted Hollows night walk experience.

As basking light through the trees surrounding Denver Zoo fades at twilight, the darkness beckons you to return. The temperature cools and a forest comes alive with the nocturnal calls and stirring rustles of a shadowy world. Travel an eerie trail where the darkness has almost all but taken hold, echoes of the roots of Halloween, creatures and spirits infamous in stories and lore, rise to life in the new Enchanted Hollows night walk experience.

*Tickets for each evening are limited and will not be available at the gate when sold out. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online and check ticket availability before attending.

Implementing Your Animal Wellness Program

January 15-17, 2019

Join us in Denver for an interactive workshop that will cover meeting the AZA Accreditation Standards, building an interdisciplinary animal wellness program, developing assessment tools for all taxa (including those housed in large groups), and improving the interpersonal skills necessary for program success. The workshop will include lectures, group discussions, and interactive activities both in the classroom and out in the zoo.
