If you’re tired of Denver haunted houses, it’s time to travel an eerie trail where the darkness has almost all but taken hold, creatures and spirits infamous in stories and lore, rise to life in the new Enchanted Hollows night walk experience. If you’re looking for new things to do for teens and adults at Halloween, this is one of the eeriest and most unique Denver experiences at it’s only at Denver Zoo. ​

*Tickets for each evening are limited and will not be available at the gate when sold out. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online and check ticket availability before attending.

National Recycle Day

Celebrate National Recycle Day! Join us for zookeeper talks, activities and more to learn all about how WE can help save wildlife through reducing, reusing and recycling. Discover what we can do to create a better world for all wildlife.

We are recycling cell phones! Please bring your old cell phone to the zoo to be recycled and receive $2.00 off regular zoo admission at our National Recycle Day celebration.

Implementing Your Animal Wellness Program

January 15-17, 2019

Join us in Denver for an interactive workshop that will cover meeting the AZA Accreditation Standards, building an interdisciplinary animal wellness program, developing assessment tools for all taxa (including those housed in large groups), and improving the interpersonal skills necessary for program success. The workshop will include lectures, group discussions, and interactive activities both in the classroom and out in the zoo.
